Am I missing something here?

This card is described as an E-90-1 Clarke Pittsburg, rare. The card is not the variation but the more common Clarke Philadelphia as the caption where it has the team clearly says "Phila." I have both so I know the difference. These eyes, however, are getting old so does anyone disagree this description is all wrong?

You are correct. Unless Pittsburg was once abbreviated "Phila.," the description appears to be entirely wrong.

My eyes are probably not much better than yours, but this card definitely says Phila. The owner probably thinks that the variation lies with his uniform.

The corrected "Pitts." version is actually crudely fixed and you can still see the original "Phila." underneath it. Can anyone post a picture?
