A colleague showed me a number of lower grade T205's with what appeared to be greenish borders. The borders with no signs of gold on them. The backs appeared unremarkable. The players were commons and the conditions were low, so I doubt anyone would have gone to the trouble of counterfeiting them. He had speculated that the gold tarnished but this hardly seems likely; I don't think ATC used gold leaf on the edges. Has anyone else seen a card like this and if so, any idea what would cause it? |
