While "Hall of Fame" is fresh in the minds of all board members I thought I would start a thread of best/weirdest/funniest names in minor/major league history. This can be current or past. Before I forget I would also like to nominate Jay Miller for the collector's Hall of Fame. I really just want to see him give an acceptance speech while handing the plaque(that he bought) to himself |

Thinking back to an "In Living Color" skit I would like to nominate Dick Buttkiss (Butkus). By the way Leon, let me know if I make it in so I can buy a realllllllllly nice plaque. |

If we are talking names on cards, my vote goes to a Cuban card (surprise!) of HOFer Pop Lloyd. On Lloyd's 1920's Aguilitas Segundas card it says "Joe Baseball". The reason remains a mystery. |
