Just wondering which auction house you would choose if you had a 1931 baseball signed by Lou Gehrig and 15 others, including five other Hall of Famer's?
I've contacted major auction houses, and they have all offered me zero commission(they take the buyers premium)-authentication fee(they will get it authenticated for me with their discount, which will then come out of the price achieved) Since they are all offering the same terms, I am left deciding which AH could provide the best audience for this item. Anybody have any comments/opinions? I have some vibes of my own, but I just want to see if others feel the same way as I do or not |

Michelle, if this were my signed ball, I'd consign it to LOTG because I feel Al C. "goes the extra mile" with respect to his auction descriptions for memorabilia items.

Interesting. I know the name, but they were not on my radar. I’ll have to take a look
