Default Brooklyn Cresents / Bill Dobby / pictures added

I picked up a lot of items once owned by Bill Dobby. A Canadian born Hockey player who played with the Montreal Shamrocks in 1899 before coming to Brooklyn and joining up with the Cresents. Who went on to Dominate Amateur Hockey in NY area for the first Decade of the 20th Century. It looks like the Cresent Athletic club in Brooklyn still exists. Anyone else have Cresents items?

Hey Jonathan,

very cool items. I was really thrilled by these when we first received them. Anything relating to New York hockey from the turn of the century or just shortly after is rare indeed, as you know.

The only item I can remember having pertaining to the AAHL (the league the Crescents played in) was a silk pillowcase with a team photo of the 1909-10 New York Wanderers with HOFer Sprague Cleghorn.
I'm surprised this item didn't interest you when my collection was sold, as you did buy my Eddie Shore signed photo if memory serves.

Again, very cool items! Congrats.
