Some people include issues from during the war because if you only have pre and post there is a stretch of years (with very little stuff to be sure) that aren't covered. However I agree with Brian and we use Pre War to mean 1941 and earlier.

This site isn't large enough to get traffic in multiple sub-forums, so everything lands here. I'd rather see a post-war vintage card thread than a "Does anyone know how to get a hold of so-and-so?" thread.
