Some people include issues from during the war because if you only have pre and post there is a stretch of years (with very little stuff to be sure) that aren't covered. However I agree with Brian and we use Pre War to mean 1941 and earlier.

This site isn't large enough to get traffic in multiple sub-forums, so everything lands here. I'd rather see a post-war vintage card thread than a "Does anyone know how to get a hold of so-and-so?" thread.

If you go through the last 50 posts a good 7 or 8 of them concerned prewar cards.

7 of the top 10 threads are pre war right now. But erroneous embellishment is everyone's right.

Jerry, I, too, have long been irked that the pre-War page contains posts about anything and everything. If I ran this forum, the content of the pre-War page would be strictly enforced. But, since I don't, I try to minimize my frustration by remembering the adage, "when in Rome, do as the Romans do."

A heavy bag in the garage would be my therapeutic recommendation.

Or the 2000th iteration of which is the best auction house to consign to or which cards are the best investments.

Or we could complain about the grading companies. That's almost never discussed.
