Hi there, my father is interested in learning about 19th century baseball bats, and possibly beginning a collection. He recently picked up one (later era?) bat at LotG:
![]() Are there any books? Or decent blogs? I'd imagine a large part of identifying old bats is just matching shape/style, but then there's gotta be a good database (pulled from newspaper ads?) of marked bats w/ company names, etc.
