Sorry, tried several times and couldn't get this pic to stay horizontal.
I have this photo of Bill Rigney and was wondering: Was it the norm for photographers to date the backs based when the picture was made, rather than taken? This is dated about 3 weeks after the 47' season ended. As far as the team the Giants were playing, I have no idea. Bobby Bragan wore #24 and caught 21 games for the Dodgers. Hodges wore #14 and caught 24 games for the Dodgers. Andy Seminick wore#4 and caught 107 games for the Phillies. Just guesses. Kayo was in the Bay Area so maybe Minor League or Spring Training facility? Thanks for any help , Andy |
