Default 1888 R&S Artistic -- Indianapolis

I'd never seen one of these before yesterday. If anyone has an Indianapolis version like this or knows someone who might, please reach out!

A tad confused, have you never seen a card from the 1888 R&S Artistic or you have never seen an Indianapolis subject?

Indianapolis is not particularly rare in my experience, it is less in demand in my view as some of the other cities in the set. I have had maybe a half set at one time.

PSA had a few sales on the site logged, but I would say the low sales have more to do with not many people submitting this set and selling raw -

I'd never seen either, but I'm pretty new to the late-1800s scene. I'll continue to keep an eye out here and eBay -- thanks for the info!

I think it's a good set to get your toes wet as collector quality examples are fairly inexpensive. R&S made diecuts for the very popular scrapbooking hobby of the time. There are many other examples from other subjects including other sports. If you look you should be able to find them rather quickly.

I started collecting pre-war Indianapolis items — I picked up an Old Judge, N28 A&G, T206, and Cracker Jack … but this provides a new quest.
