MLB player roster movement rules.
I think I heard today that each (all?) player can be sent back to the minor five times before having to clear wavers (and what are those details?) and there are exceptions for the 27th man for double-headers and injuries? How about the injured list? I've seen players sit on the 10-day list for more than a month...and the 60-day list confuses me as well...are those players still on the 40-man roster? I apologize for asking for a lot of information, but my RAM is now much more random. Thanks in advance...will check back .

I think the 10-day list means a player has to be out for 10 days at a minimum but can definitely be out longer if needed. When they are on the 60-day list, that removes them from the 40 man roster so someone else can be added to it.
