A member here, @nolanryan123! repeatedly promotes these auctions from 44&more that are apparently not his.
From my own personal observation and a couple of reviews from verified bidders, some raw cards are sold through this auction without disclosure of alterations and with no accountability or ethics in remedying the wrongdoing once it’s identified. First is a card that is live in their current auction that is colored on all 4 corners, every single one, without mention. 1955 Bowman Mickey Mantle https://www.auctionninja.com/44-more...rd-780485.html ![]() Next are a couple reviews from purchasers of cards that were later discovered to be altered. One is referring to this Topps Wayne Gretzky that I identified as narrow in a previous promotion post from nolanryan123! ![]() ![]() ![]() Next is another review from a buyer of an altered card, although I’m not sure to which they are referring. ![]() Lastly is an image of a Bird/Magic RC from a past auction that is comically short, although no mention of it in the description. ![]() I don’t go through all their cards, just have seen a few that really caught my attention as likely/certainly altered and the reviews from verified bidders who report to have lost thousands of dollars on these makes it worth having a thread about this seller, Jeff Hile, in my opinion. The 1955 Bowman Mantle looks recolored along the edges too. Somebody is going to be unhappy if that goes for grading someday. Thanks for calling out that auction.

bump to coincide with new post promoting this likely hobby bad actor, 44&More, and the mysterious repeat promoter of their sales, @nolanryan123!
