2022 Topps Chrome Question...

Hey...quick question...one of my oldest best friends son bought me a box of 2022 Topps Chrome for Christmas...and I opened it tonight...FUN of course, but I know literally nothing about the "new stuff". Enjoyed the rip...

Pulled this Julio Rodriguez rookie, being a Seattle guy obviously it's a cool card I'm excited to own. I do have several Julio cards, but not this one. I can't seem to find it anywhere either. Is this some kind of single print picture variation? Any help here would be appreciated...I'm literally coming up zero??

Thanks John...wow, I know that's a graded PSA 10, but didn't see that value coming. Pretty excited for my pull. Not sure what "Sonic" means, this came from a regular Topps Chrome pack? First time I have ever pulled something this cool...I have the worse luck. Not a new shiny card kind of guy, but I do love Julio cards...nice addition to the collection!

Makes you wonder how many people pull these and not realize its any type of variation. I just noticed it didn't look like a card #222 I already had...had I not looked this card would have just landed my regular stack of Julio's.

Topps Chrome Sonic was a rerelease of Topps Chrome put out a few months ago. It has additional parallels. So it should have been in a different box than regular chrome. But your code at the bottom right corner of the back of the card matches the one in the PSA slab. Next time, put that little code and the "2022 Topps card 222 Julio Rodriguez" together in google and you might find those rare SPs.

I was going to say the same as John. If you pulled this, then you were opening Topps Chrome Sonic…not Topps Chrome. The boxes are similar and I could see a gift giver getting them confused.

Also as he said, new Topps uses the last three digits of the code at the bottom to identify the short prints and such. Those three digits and the series issue will get you all you need on google
