counterfeit 1951 bowman
Does alignment of baseball on the back of 51 bowmans indicate fakes

Since the "baseball" and the rest of the back are two different colors some misalignment from registration that's slightly off would be normal.
Sounds like the source image for the fake Mantles was a bit off. On a common I wouldn't worry.
