I thought it was a generous offer. Alas, he didn't want to send me a small deposit. Or send more pictures of the card. His loss, I suppose. I was offering an immediate 400% return on investment and a rare opportunity to diversify his portfolio with precious metals.

Tyrell was pretty clearly scamming in multiple posts that day. He also had a PSA 7 52 Jackie to sell someone in another post. Seems to me that WTB posts in general are just asking for trouble.

Yes, precisely. I've been looking for SGC 1 copies of a 1953 Mantle and 1952 Topps Mays, and hoping to sell the ones I have to subsidize other low-grade cards for my collection.
