Default Red Grange Autographed Footballs

I've recently been sifting through a fairly large autograph and memorabilia collection that I purchased. A collector I've known for many years was retiring and liquidating most of his collection. Included in the lot were two footballs signed by 1920s/30s Chicago Bears legend and Hall of Famer Red Grange. They were signed sometime in the late 80s, just a few years before Grange died. His signature deteriorated towards the end of his life, and he had visible difficulty with the curved surface of the balls.

My personal collection is almost entirely baseball, so I'm not the most knowledgeable about Grange or how to value his (rare) autograph. I listed the two balls on eBay for $1500 each, but I could not find any comps, so that may be way off. If you are interested in either of the balls, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm trying to move them and will listen to any and all offers, and can provide discounts for payment off of eBay. You can PM me here or text me at 917-620-3695.

I actually mailed two footballs to him in about 1989 and long since sold them. These looks like they could be the two. Very nice though I don't have any comp prices on these, they should be worth what you are asking.
Good luck with the sale!
