Ha ha. "Jolly" is merely an adjective. Elm or Elms is the (nick)name. And I'm working on the next go of 'New Collectorisms.' So, stay tuned...

my understanding is that there are 110 cards in that series, so 10 rows of 11 cards each. These cards consist of 644 to 752 plus another copy of the checklist (619).
There are 6 rows printed 2x each (the SPs) and 4 rows printed 3x each. |

Ask and ye shall receive - one slit from the 71 hi's. Quite unusual arrangement order of rows - A, B, C, D, A, B, C, D, E, C, D, E. On this sheet there are 55 unique cards. We know there are 109 in the series, so the other slit will feature 54 unique cards (one row will include the checklist, but will not be headed by Foy).

Outstanding - never saw the other slit - THanks!
That explains it - I erroneously the checklist to having a 7th series #, but of course it was in the 6th series. So 54 cards on the first slit, 55 on the other. Last edited by deweyinthehall; 02-12-2023 at 04:20 PM. |
