Another thread where I wonder if someone else has, or has pictures of, an odd type. "Blank backs" are fairly common for T225, but they are not usually actual blank backs, they are thinner images cut from the advertising poster. Unlike most of the other posters that we must deduct existed from unique or nearly unique paper thin hand-cut cards, the T225's are not that rare and there are at least 3 full and complete copies of the poster extant.
What I haven't seen before are actual, true blank backs. I got 2 fairly recently, Corbett and Kaufman, both handcut. They are pictured here above one of the poster cuts of Leach Cross. The Corbett and Kaufman are as thick as a normal card, with none of the other indicators of the poster cuts (primarily the brighter printing that is fairly clear in hand with them). Anyone else have any? |
