I'm 99% sure this is no good.
1. Blank back. Everyone I've ever seen has printing on the back. 2. Not in the PSA Holder - looks like it was sent in and sent back due to questionable authenticty. 3. Corners cut, never seen one like that. 4. Could be a Proof, but PSA grades Proofs and note them as such and would have here if they thought that. Anyone else have any concerns with it? https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item...-game-1-ticket Be careful out there! Last edited by Shoeless Moe; 01-29-2025 at 09:24 AM. |

Ive never seen one that looks like this...nothing printed on the back and the print on the front is not crisp and clear...I will send the link to a guy who tried to collect ever image of 1919 WS tickets to see what he thinks.
This is the closest I could find of a complete ticket from a Cin game if you want to compare the corner of the left side that is always missing Last edited by ThomasL; 01-29-2025 at 08:37 AM. |

here is a post from the person who is selling it asking opinions on it...claims passed down from his grandfather to father
https://www.reddit.com/r/SportsMemor...ticket_game_1/ Update - the person now claims the auction listing is not his ticket...when it is clearly the exact same ticket stay far away from this one Last edited by ThomasL; 01-29-2025 at 10:27 AM. |

Wonder how in the world he came up with Block Auctions in Ferndale Michigan. Hopefully he bids it up and gets stuck back with it, otherwise there is going to be one disappointed collector out there. Currently at $742, with 42 watchers, guessing it will go much higher. Never underestimate the uneducated. Thanks all for the input. Last edited by Shoeless Moe; 01-29-2025 at 09:21 AM. |

also worth noting I have never seen a Game 1 ticket sell for $18k...or any 1919 WS ticket with a hole punch...
but a good question is if it is fake where did the full ticket example (the left side printing and format) come from??? Last edited by ThomasL; 01-29-2025 at 09:57 AM. |
