I have a tremendous affinity for the classic pieces of art that are baseball cards. This project I’ve been working on includes digital embellishments using an iPad, moving the image to Photoshop where I add more details and ultimately print on transparent sheets.
After printing, the backside of the player is hand painted white to give the front image opaqueness. The sheet is then laid on holographic vinyl and adhered to thick stock. The opaque player outline contrasts with the holographic vinyl and the end result is a stunning (in my opinion) color display for these vintage images. It’s not the norm here but thought I’d share these handmade pieces I’ve done in this series. ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
