Default Cap Tip to Cliff Bowman

A few weeks back there was a thread that referenced '50s Star Cal decals and I replied with a link to a blog post I'd done years ago on the subject.

Cliff had followed the link and read the entry and a week or so ago he messaged me for my address. He wanted to send me a couple Martin/Lewis Star Cals he had picked up that I mentioned in the post as being on my want list.

Such a great gesture!

Sure enough the decals arrived today and I wanted to thank Cliff here on N54 for his thoughtfulness and generosity. It is very much appreciated.

Cliff has sent me numerous cards. His post war expertise on how recurring variant print flaws occur and are related from a sheet position perspective are a great resource on the post war board.

It is just too bad he is a Cubs fan

Cliff helped me get a rare Dave Kingman card that I wasn't even convinced existed. I'll always appreciate it!
