This is the first installment, and probably the last installment of "Did You Know?".
Did you know that country music star Charley Pride played minor league baseball and that he wore #44 for the Brewers - before Hank Aaron wore #44 for the Brewers? Anyway, being a Brewers fan, I thought it was interesting. Today, at a garage sale, I bought of group of early 1970's country music magazines and concert programs. I was going through them this evening and ran across this article. Rick

I'm a country music fan and knew he played minor league baseball but did not know about the number 44. Interesting and thanks!
