Hi, I was wondering if anyone has discovered a case (clear acrylic box?) that works for 1 transogram box?

Great question!
FWIW, I found myself wondering how I could protect my NY Mets Transogram box featuring Nolan Ryan about 15-20 years ago. I was unable to find a stock acrylic case that would work. A Canadian Ryan collector friend of mine that had the same dilemma found a guy that could make custom acrylic cases. He had one made for both of us. Here is what the case looks like. The back of the case has a panel that slides open allowing you to place the box inside. Depending on how badly you want to protect your Transogram box, it may be worthwhile to seek out someone that can manufacture a case like this for you. I also will ask my friend if he remembers who made these. Are you looking for a Transogram case for a single player or for one of the boxes featuring 3 players like mine? Just curious... I hope this helps. |

Thanks Scott, that looks great and is exactly what I had in mind. I need the size for an individual, not 3 player, box. I'm also looking for the assembled size, not flat. I've looked for a while at places like the Container Store and Target but haven't had any luck for the specific size. Maybe I'll do some research about having them custom made.
Thanks also for posting the photos for what a 'transogram box' is - for a few moments I figured I had used the wrong term for what I was asking about! |

BTW, I checked with my friend in Canada and the person that made these for us, no longer does custom work like this. I would tell you that the person that would make this for you will need inner box dimensions. Essentially the sale size as your individual Transogram box and add 1/4" on all sides to allow for a bit of space. Good luck on finding your acrylic guy if you go this route. The end result is worth it in my opinion. ![]() ![]() Happy holidays! Last edited by Scott Garner; 12-12-2020 at 10:59 AM. |

What is the size of the box you want to display?
I have had boxes made by local plastic fabrication stores. Not the cheapest option, but you can have them made to any size you want, and have them use u/v acrylic if you are concerned with fading. |
