I don't know much about these things, but I believe this is a contract for the Yankees purchase of Fred Newberry from the Atlanta Baseball Club. It is signed by Jacob Ruppert and JP Corbett.

I'll save you the headache...this is a common secretarial version, with Ed Barrow signing for Ruppert.

Unfortunately, I'd say it has minimal value as it's more of a curiosity than anything else. The player in question never made the show, so that lessens interest as well. I can't really pinpoint a value, as I typically pass this sort of thing by. For a time, it was actually more common than not for Barrow to sign for Ruppert. You see it on all sorts of Yankee documents: checks, contracts, etc. There is a bit of novelty in the fact that one HOFer is signing on behalf of another, though!
