BGS Regrade? Tatis Jr Auto Patch

Hi all - still a newbie on the forum so please be gentle. Been building my collection but not experienced when it comes to grading. I've got a 2019 Topps Update Reverence Autograph Patches - Fernando Tatis Jr #4/10. I love the card, I think it's got great eye appeal, tri-color patch, etc. As shown in the pictures, it's an 8.5 from BGS. Obviously the top of the case is cracked which I need to remedy, but to my naked eye, this really seems like a 9. The corners and edges on the front are pristine with only a tiny imperfection on one edge and corner on the back. I know the centering is off, but I've heard PSA is gentler when it comes to centering? Anyways, I'm trying to figure out my best option in regards to getting a new case, and possibly resubmitting. Any feedback is welcome. Should I just send to BGS and pay for a new slab and be happy with an 8.5? Should I crack the card and send to either BGS or PSA and hope to get lucky with a 9 (but run the risk of getting back an 8?).

PSA is usually more strict on the condition of thick patch cards. And depending on whether or not they have the right holder in stock, it may come back in a wax pack holder and not look right in your collection. It's up to you, but I wouldn't spend the money to have PSA regrade it.

If you're keeping it, I'm not seeing much difference between 8.5 and 9. It is a cool and good looking card and the number won't change that.

If you plan on selling, maybe? It would depend on if the difference between grades is covered by the grading fee and turnaround time.

It is a great card only thing I see is top left corner if white is showing I dont think you get a 9. So I eould just get new slab and enjoy the card.
