Does anyone recognize the “Wagner” postcard mentioned below? The players got a hoot out of seeing the postcards. Since the players found it funny, Gibson was probably identified as Wagner on the postcards instead of being unidentified. Of the hundreds printed, I’m curious to see if any are out there.
This is from the Evening Star 1/29/1911 and is referencing an event from 3/1910. I’ll try to post the rest of the article later, it’s a little chunky. I’m mostly curious about the postcard mentioned below. |
