Default Newbie question here

What is the preferred grading company for vintage cards? Is it PSA or SGC?

Good question. I've read by other members that many like SGC for vintage, reasons include understanding vintage sets a bit better, as well as for that black outline around the card that makes the POP!

PSA seems to be recommended for modern.

PSA does bring a premium with it at auction however.
