Default $1,000 PayPal F&F to Spend. Whattaya got?? SOLD!!

Edited to add: Money's gone, as I got a great deal!!

I'm getting ready to make a huge (for me) purchase, and had a thought. Before pulling the trigger, why not throw out an open invitation and see if I can do better here instead??

So here's the deal. I have a total of $1,000 to spend on a big card or cards, and I'm looking for a steal. I can't stress it enough. It has to be something that I'd be a fool not to jump at. I fully understand that that statement alone is going to eliminate many people from wanting to participate (ha ha), and that's fine, but maybe someone else has something great to sell, and could use some cash right now?

Looking for something special, not run-of-the-mill. (With some exceptions) I'm only interested in graded cards. Most qualifiers (specifically OC, PD, ST) don't bother me much if they're not too bad. Would prefer to buy a single (major) card, but am also open to buying multiple cards from one seller, or a couple of cards from different sellers. In other words, $1,000 is the ceiling. If I'm offered a great deal on a card that I want for significantly less than that amount, that's fine too.

I'm a big fan of the 'Auction Prices Realized' site (and other resources), so please understand. I am looking for a steal. If something generally sells for $500, and you offer it to me for $500 or thereabouts, I'm not going to bite, because I can 'always' get it at that price. There's no motivation there...know what i mean??

I've already seen everything in the B/S/T here.

Could be a great Mantle, a pretty high grade Seaver RC with a qualifier, a 1968 WL McCormick? I dunno, those are the types of things that immediately come to mind.

In general, I'm looking for something in this vein:
• HOF'ers and RC's in nice shape from the 50's, 60's, and 70's
• Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle, Sandy Koufax, Jackie Robinson, Ted Williams, Roberto Clemente, Babe Ruth and Nolan Ryan cards
• Major HOF rookie cards
• 1971 Topps Greatest Moments
• Tough to find errors and variations from the 50's through the early 70's
• 1964 Topps Stand-Ups (need virtually any in nice shape)
• 1961-67 Topps high numbers and SP's
• 1963 Fleer BB stars and HOF'ers
• 1954 Bowman BB stars and HOF'ers in nice shape
• 1954 Red Heart BB (need virtually any in nice shape)
• 1967 Laughlin World Series (with address on back) in high grade
• 1971 Fleer World Series ‘Updates’ (1971 - 1977) in high grade

If you have something that you think fits the scenario, shoot me a PM. Yes, this is a pretty wide open scenario, but maybe you're looking to move some great cards quickly to help finance your next purchase or something else?? Gimme a shout. Thanks!
