I'm not even a novice card collector. The only cards I have are an unopened Topps Series 3 baseball 1972 wax box that I purchased on Ebay in around 2008 that was graded 8 by GAI. I bought it strictly as an investment and saw that the item has appreciated well. While looking for a suitable buyer, a couple of dealers stated that this box needs to be re-graded/certified before I sell it (to receive a fair price) because GAI allegedly did some unscrupulous things late in their existence. I hate to pay a lot of money, wait a lot of time and run the risk of issues with shipping if I don't have to. My question is whether I need to have this box re-certified before selling it. I apologize if I am not using the correct terminologies. As I said, the only cards I had before these went in my bicycle spokes but I guess that's what makes a lot of the cards valuable today. Thanks in advance for any information as to what I should do. enoland2300@gmail.com
