Default O/T Spam Private Messages from RobertGreno

Whomever this person is is now banned. He/She/It wasn't even approved and is spamming folks on the forum. I was contacted by 3 members in the last 10 minutes. Our board is fairly safe but much more safe with the help of members being on the alert. It is ALWAYS caveat emptor so be careful. Thanks all...

And a postcard...

Just got a PM from him. Title looked fishy so I didn't open it.

"ENTHUSIASTIC FANS"?

WTF?

Shouldn't they be playing poker?

Oh . . .

And Leon, thanks for the vigilance.

I had just received on of the PMs myself.

This is a 10 x 14 paper version of "doggy fans." It is different but instills the same qualities. And this one has them smoking some stogies. Sorry for the large scan....

How were they able to send pms if they weren't approved? Could the site have been hacked? I see "Not secure" next to the address - maybe Net54 should be https?

We are as secure as can be for now. If you click on the url it will pop a https in the url and also on phones it shows the lock (does on mine). This security certificate was done fairly recently. There isn't any sensitive information on the site so it isn't too detrimental even if we didn't have it, imo.
But regardless, we are paying for a secure certificate and should be ok. As for the pm's getting through that might have to do with our software.

The SEO results will improve with a secure site, according to Google.

Don't click that "More Info" link.

I sent Leon a screenshot when I received it.

I know around 2 years ago a long time error collector I have known for decades wanted to join. He only did the register part and never got approved by Leon. He works weird hours so he just never got together with Leons confirmation call. He sent me PMs at that time, he just couldn't post.
