When you tell people/post on a forum you are looking for a card. All of a sudden every one for sale greatly increases in price.
I recently was looking for a card that using eBay completed listings showed it sold in the $180-$205 range. Now they are all listed at $250-$300 in just a few days. I also noticed this when I was looking for a rookie Eddie Mathews. All the recent sales was in my price range. Then when I decided to actually buy one they all instantly went up $500. Then after I bought mine I can now find then in the price range i was looking at. I know it is just a weird coincidence but hey this has to be better than the silly arguments in the PWCC/PSA threads. ![]() |
