I hope it's okay for me to copy this over from the watercooler section:

My nephew, Tom, has been selected as a Home-Town Hero to throw out the first pitch for the Gwinnett Stripers' (Braves AAA affiliate) game Monday, July 16!

Tom returned from Afghanistan in April and we could not be prouder!
