...well....actually 7 1951 Bowmans + 1 1955 Bowman of recently departed Red Schoendienst + a 1950 Bowman Bob Lemon with clipped corners. Both HOFers though, so not too shabby.
The "Reclaiming my home from over 10+ years of Auction Wins" is still ongoing and now back at Net 54!! I'll be honest with you...some lots did well, some lots I was giving the stuff away. The few that were steals left me uninspired to put more stuff on here. I PROMISE to do better. I KNOW this forum doesn't get the eyeballs on here compared to Ebay. However, we are a close knit family I feel, and even though the numbers aren't there, the fewer that are here can appreciate these cards AS MUCH, IF NOT MORE than I can. I have shoeboxes upon shoeboxes of this stuff. I can't take it with me. So without further ado...
The guy who recently put some 50's Bowmans up inspired me to dug through my box again at 5:30 AM on a groggy Monday morning.....
In 3 minutes, I found 7 1951's Bowman's. They are in GOOD-VERY GOOD shape. Not high grade by no means, but still cool cards from the 1950's.
Commons and B stars. Branca, Preacher Roe, and a low grade rookie of Alfonso Carrasquel are there. Oh, and some HOFer named Boudreau.
To fill out the scanner, I found a VG/EX '55 Bowman of recently passed Red Schoendiest, and a 1950 Bowman of HOFer Bob Lemon with clipped corners on what could have been a really sweet card!!
Bidding stars at $1 for all 9 cards. $3.50 for shipping. Auction ends at 10:00 this Sunday night. 10:01 is no good. Sorry for the rambling. I'm still not awake yet.
