I'm questioning the authenticity of the 3rd ticket down below (vs The Giants). Just picked it up and compared to other tickets I own, it seems a little off. The first thing I noticed is that it's a different paper stock, however, when I compared it to my other 1942 it is similar. It appears the stock changed from the 1941 ticket to the 1942.
The other thing that jumped out is that there is no perforated edge on the new ticket. This seems odd to me. However, the new ticket has an "Airport Exhibition Co." designation on the back, which my other two do not have. I can't find out much about that company so not sure what the relevance is. I thought maybe the perforation had been trimmed off, but it is the exact same size as the other 1942. Any thoughts? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
