What an auction !
Working around Reading PA, Denver PA drove past a huge flashing sign - Auction today..stopped in at my lunch hour....it was a company called Morphy Auctions
never heard of them, but they are pretty big I guess The live auction going on was all firearms, knives, etc... Wow these things go for huge money ! Winchester rifles 6/7/8 $ grand ! guys bidding like crazy...I said to myself you guys are nuts, you should spend you money on little cardboard photos ..of " men you've never met " !! I got caught up in it, and purchased a can of soda and watched ! I found it odd, a major auction like this taking place on a Thursday morning/afternoon.... and the display cases filled with stuff for upcoming Sports collectables auction at end of month...incredibly cool stuff unopened rack packs or early 60s, old vintage bobbleheads, old uniforms, Babe Ruth stuff, very impressive
