Anyone know much about the Rome Colonels? I can't find a ton but did find that it looks like they were a team from 1937-1951. I have a "Colonels" uniform I bought from Hunt's at the Louisville Slugger auction that I have reason to believe is NOT a Louisville Colonels but rather another Colonels team. It's kind of cream and light yellow coloring on the letters. Will try to post a photo. I also have an oversized pennant also of "Colonels" that's about 30-35 inches long with Purple as primary color and bright yellow surrounding the pennant, double points and bright yellow lettering. No idea on that one. Assuming/Hoping that one of the two items is related to the Rome Colonels and wondering if anyone has any info!
AND....ALWAYS interested in LOUISVILLE Colonels stuff! |
