1979 and 1980 Royals Photocards
From researching it seems that where a player exists in both of these sets - i.e. Brett, LaCock, Quirk, etc. - the cards are identical and indistinguishable from each other.
In which case, if you have one there is no way at all to tell which year it was issued. I have a Quirk player collection I'm working on, and I have one of these. No idea which; impossible to tell. Part of me thinks well, I should get another one because they issued one each year. But if I got another, I would have no way of knowing if the two were issued in the same year or not. Does this sound correct? What would others do - stick with the 1?
