Default Lou Costello

How much does a Lou Costello signed item go for? Possibly looking to pick up one if there are any for sale. Don’t know how often they show up here but figured it might be worth a try.

Thanks,

Andrew

Message Richard Simon. Thought he had one. But Abbott is more expensive, But Lou will still run you probably a few hundred dollars

Default Abbott and Costello

Hi Andrew,

Here are some pics of the autograph and of the scripts. Such a good part of the history of that iconic team. I have a bunch of pics of the inside pages as well.

Very cool, Dave.

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello...my all-time favorites.

I remember as a kid watching them every Sunday on channel 11 at 11:30AM.

I own all of their movies, skits, TV shows, etc. on DVD.

Thank you. I remember watching those movies every Sunday too. Just classic!

Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, Meet Jekyll and Hyde, Meet the Mummy. I've seen them all dozens of times each and I still will watch when they are on TV.

And in those pics of the scripts.....each of them were from the personal collection of Bud Abbott......purchased from his estate.

Me, too, Dave.

No vulgarity.

Just funny and clean humor.

Just today (no fishing today due to the rain) I watched "Hold That Ghost."

Classic.

I just saw The Time of their Lives......the one where Costello was a Revolutionary War era ghost.

Thanks all for the info and leads. I believe I have just about every movie and show Abbott and Costello were in as well. I can’t get my wife to enjoy them, though. Not sure what’s wrong with her

Those scripts are fantastic! Have you ever read through them?

Women just don't get it (and if any women are reading this....it's not sexist, just fact).

I turned a few pages on "Meet the Killer". I was afraid since these were about 70 years old that I might crease a page.

They go down in history as one of the greatest comedy duos of all time.

My favorite is "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein."

Below are two of my favorite skits.

Default Lou Costello

Lou Costello : Well that’s gonna cost you overtime because I’m a union man and I work only sixteen hours a day.

McDougal : A union man only works eight hours a day.

Lou Costello : I belong to two unions.

As a math teacher I use that little skit every year. Classes usually enjoy it. One of my all time favorite bits that they did.

It's like the Stooges... women don't really get them either.
