Well, for starters, I collect classic Thunderbirds. This 1957 is a "rare bird", it's powered by a 312 Cubic-inch V-8. It's trans is a 3-speed floor shift with Overdrive.
With the Willow Green color, only 150 such T-Birds were produced out of a total of 24,000 T-Birds in 1957. ![]() And, here is my 1960 T-Bird (4-seater) that boasts a 352 Cubic-inch engine with 10.5 to 1 compression ratio. Both these cars have 4-barrel Holley carburetors which are fun (and challenging) to rebuild. Which I did often because of this crappy ethanol gas. In recent years, I've gotten smarter since I get aircraft fuel at a nearby airport. ![]() I'm also an avid LIONEL train collector. And, I play 2 hours (singles) of Tennis 2 days of every week. Also, I have laid out a grass tennis court in my back yard (which I practice on regularly). TED Z . |
