Did Babe Ruth receive World Series rings with the Sox?
Was just discussing this with a friend and neither of us knew the answer for sure. Did Babe Ruth receive World Series rings for the titles that he won with the Red Sox?
(For clarification, I know actual rings weren't being given out at this time. It was usually pocketwatches/pendants/pins/etc but to keep it simple let's just call them rings) In an article I read awhile back, Ruth's daughter was talking about his 4 Yankees World Series rings going missing over time, but Red Sox rings were never mentioned.
