Ok so I purchased a baseball off of ebay. I know it is a 1917-1918 Official National League Baseball by matching up the markings with Keyman Collectibles guide. The sweet Spot says Nap Rucker 1914. Not sure why it would say that due to this being a 1917 ball. There are other things on here written that I can not make out (partly because I may not know what I am looking out ie signatures etc). I took multiple photos of different panels under blacklights and have added them here.
Anyone able to identify anything at all? I see one thing appears to say Rucker & Jim? here are the photos..... Hoping we can uncover something cool as heck. |
