T3 line question
what do people make of the dark thick "print" lines often found just inside the borders of T3 cards? i have all of mine without them (working on a set for many years, i need 18 to complete), but in the last RE Auction and this Heritage Auction, many of the cards are graded PSA 5 or better yet have this dark print line about an 1/8" inside the border, on one or more borders of the cards.Since the cards are plentiful without this line, i would consider it a defect (at any rate, it bothers my eyes) and i would not buy these cards.
any idea what these lines are from? were there print runs or storage issues? any help or thoughts welcome. ( i would attach a picture but haven't figured out how to load that up yet...you can go look at the Schlei or Sullivan T3's in Heritage this month to see the line(s))
