Hello Net54 football fans,
I am currently writing a book about a former Central Washington University football player from the 1960's. I am looking for a text, or internet article that covers the Wing T Offense. This particular player was a fullback his freshman season, end his sophomore year, and guard as a junior and senior. Just looking for a reference for popular plays and defined roles in the offense, so I can write about each position with some accuracy. Two of his 1965 teammates were drafted or signed by NFL teams, end Byron "Big Daddy" Johnson drafted by the Dallas Cowboys (later played for the Continental Football League's Seattle Rangers), and tackle Wayne "Swanee" Swanson signed by the Houston Oilers despite being born without a left hand. All three were on the undefeated 1963 team, ranked #10 in the NAIA. Thank you in advance gentlemen. You guys are the best ![]() Last edited by pariah1107; 10-19-2016 at 02:37 PM. |
