Bump Hadley Autographed Photo with Interesting Content for Sale

Below is a Bump Hadley autographed photo for sale. He pitched for the Yankees in the late 30s and was also a broadcaster. The best part of this piece is what Bump wrote on the back. Here is the text as best as I can make it out.

"Rather late answering my mail of June.

I don't pretend to justify present day baseball over that played ? to 40 years ago. I don't believe anyone has ever heard me say that its a better a faster game at present. I do think its difficult to make comparison because of the changes such as the baseball itself, gloves, etc. "

On the front it reads "To Ralph T Barney" Just below it, he wrote "Heads Up and Keep Pitching" and at the bottom "Sincerely Bump Hadley".
