Default My $54 Question

As much as I like the image on this year's Net54 Forum pin, I did not go to Atlantic City and I did not request one from Leon.

I have a couple of pins from prior years, that I rarely see. I do not have a pin drawer per se or a pin collection. The clasp on the pin is easy enough to attach to my shirt or jacket. I suspect that recent attendees in AC wore their pin proudly at the show, but...................

My question for you pin heads (in the affectionate sense) is where else other than a card show perhaps have you worn your Net54 pins.

Since all the guys on the pins are dead, would you wear it to a funeral?

Would you wear to the airport in hopes of bumping into a like minded individual? Remember there are probably folks on this board you wouldn't care to bump into.

Would you wear it to work? I doubt it, but do you stuff it in your pocket so that you can wear it to "Happy Hour" at the pub on the way home?

Does anyone have a Stetson or a sombrero with all the pins attached?

Have you ever had your picture taken (not a selfie) because you were wearing your pin?

This question has been bugging me for several minutes now. Please give me some answers.

I don't think I would wear one to a funeral. Most other places might be ok though....I think there are a few members who might have a complete set (ungraded of course) and I have seen collectors wearing more than one before, at a show.

c'mon frank...we are COLLECTORS...ie hoarders, accumulators, scavengers...keepers of stuff. The pin is more stuff...and what collector doesn't want "more stuff!"

My pin collection resides in a drawer...or somewhere likely never to be seen again...until I decide to dispose of them!
