Help ID Babe photo source? (Solved!)
Hi, wondering if anyone can help us out by identifying the photo that was photocopied into this form:
 We're preparing at our website an article about fakes in our little backwater of the memorabilia hobby, and we want to get every last detail right. The pic shown is purportedly of a young Babe Ruth. It does seem awfully familiar, something we're sure we've seen before and more than once, but we can't locate the matching photo. And the more we look at it, the less sure we are that it's even the Bambino, given that his follow-through almost always left the bat vertical. Anyone recognize the picture? Putting a date to it would be extra peachy super...

I can't give you the exact picture it came from, but the sock design looks like the style he wore with the Red Sox, so that narrows down the time period a bit for you.
