Default FS: Early circa 1905-1915 written and signed Ty Cobb letter

Up for sale is a vintage circa 1905-1915 Ty Cobb letter to an autograph seeker back in MI. The letter measures approx. 5.5x7 inches and is written and signed in the hand of Cobb. Letter and signature remain bold. There is some paper loss as well as folds which can be seen on the accompanying photos. This now comes with a full JSA LOA!

Based on research of the manager listed on the Brunswick Hotel (Boston) stationary, Herbert Hiram Barnes worked for the Hotel from 1879-1914 upon which he retired, and would pass away the following year (hence the dating of 1905-1915). Based on exemplars, I would guesstimate that this signature would fall in the 1910-1915 time period. This letter has been sitting in a security deposit box for decades, and prior to that, was purchased from Conway Barker (a well known autograph dealer of the time) in 1969 . I will include the postmarked Conway Barker envelope with the Cobb letter.

Due to the rarity of such an early/prime of Cobb's career letter and the strength of signature, I am asking for $ale pending. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for looking!
