Given the obscurity of this WWII-era Cuban set, this post will probably get few looks and even fewer responses. But, hope springs eternal.
![]() In the 1945-46 issue, there are (at least) two versions of the card of Ray Dandridge #25, a Hall of Famer. On the first, or "error," version, his position is misspelled "Shortsotp." On the second, or "corrected," version, his position is spelled "Shortstop." (second scan courtesy of LOTG Auctions -- Hi Al.) (Sorry, I don't know how to make the second scan bigger, but trust me, it says "Shortstop.") Beyond this spelling difference, there are other formatting differences. For those who have one or the other (or both) versions of this relatively obscure card, could you let me know which one(s) you have? Thanks. Scot Reader Okay so far that's: 7 "Shortsotp" 2 "Shortstop" (Count includes my "Shotsotp" but does not include the 1 "Shortsotp" and 2 "Shortstop" I found on the web).
