Default 19th Century Trading Post--

I prefer to trade. I find it more difficult but more rewarding and fun. I'm looking for equal value and two happy parties.

In that spirit, and in the tradition of Net54 [This is not a new idea/has been done before in other BST sections], please feel free to post any 19th century stuff that you'd like to trade.
Everyone who has 19th century cards for trade can post in this thread.

I am going to start [more to come] with these N29's:

--Breaking News!--Blockbuster Trade!--This just in--
Buck Ewing + ca$h for Babe Ruth!--
[FYI, '33 Goudey Ruth #149, PSA 1]

Ewing SGC 40,--TRADED--
Miller, SGC 20,

I'm looking primarily for hall-of-famers, particularly Anson, Comiskey, Delahanty, and Brouthers, also Brooklyn Dodgers and NY Highlanders/Americans, etc., any type of 19th century cards. I like both graded and ungraded cards.

Default A little help here, please--

Here are four more:

Old Judge Ewing, trimmed, "bray16" [?] pencil-written on back,
Scrapps die-cut Curtis Welch, with broken shoulder, pencil-written name on back,
N28 Tim Keefe, trimmed,--SOLD--
N28 Tim Keefe, skinned*--No longer available--Having sold the other, I'm keeping this one--

* A note on this last Keefe: I bought it a couple of years ago on ebay as an N28, thinking it was skinned But I'm not sure if I can guarantee that it is an N28--I'd appreciate some help here--
The card has the Allen & Ginter logo, which distinguishes it from the A16 album-cut cards. But I know that these cards were also cut from advertising posters. And my question is,
Did the advertising-poster cards have the Allen & Ginter logo that appears on the N28's?
If so, can anyone tell the difference?
Or, can this be confirmed as an N28?

--Follow-up Note: This question has been answered below and elsewhere to my satisfaction. Again--Thanks for the help.

I also have an SGC A, A16 Tim Keefe [These are all hand-cut, I believe].
I'll post a scan if anyone's interested.

Default doug

it's an N28 - as you have a checklist on the back :-)
Just FYI should a similar occasion arise - the card, album page, and banner all have different paper stock (even when the card example is skinned). The image of that particular card seems to be the same in all three mediums - I didn't take measurements - I don't have the banner in hand.

Default Update, with new addition--

For Trade only--A16 BVG A Tim Keefe--See below.

I also have for trade, E29 SGC 20 Miller [See Post 1],
trimmed OJ Buck Ewing fielding, Scrapps die-cut Curtis Welch, damaged [See Post 6].

Let me thank Anson and David for the good deals,
including the blockbuster trade of Buck Ewing + cash for Babe Ruth--

Trade-wise, I am interested in any album/banner cut hall-of-famers, as well as 19th century hall-of-famers of any types, needing many for my hall-of-fame collection. Will add money if needs be. I like both graded and ungraded cards.

Default N28 Chas Bennett / Annie Oakley for trade

Have two low-grade N28s here available both graded SGC Authentic. The Bennett is very rough, obviously. The Oakley is very clean, but trimmed from the bottom.

Looking for N28 Caruthers, Ward, or Dempsey (boxing). Also looking for several N29s (baseball or otherwise) that I don't have...about 25.
