Default 1961-62 Fleer Basketball Complete Set with 29 Autographs

A very nice complete set of 66 1961-62 Fleer Basketball. An amazing set by itself, but this set includes 29 autographs on the portrait cards. 18 of the autographed cards are Hall of Famers! Three are personalized.

Autographed cards are:

1 Al Attles
3 Elgin Baylor
4 Walt Bellamy
6 Bob Boozer
11 Bob Cousy
12 Wayne Embry
13 Dave Gambee
14 Tom Gola
17 Richie Guerin
18 Cliff Hagen
19 Tommie Heinsohn
20 Bailey Howell
21 Rod Hundley
23 Sam Jones
25 John Kerr
26 Rudy LaRusso
28 Bob Leonard
29 Clyde Lovellette
31 Tom Meschery
33 Don Ohl
34 Bob Pettit
35 Frank Ramsey
38 Bill Russell
39 Dolph Schayes
40 Frank Selvy
41 Gene Shue
42 Jack Twyman
43 Jerry West
44 Len Wilkens

Price includes postage and insurance, $3150.

The color irregularity to the left of Cousy's head is from the 9 pocket and scanner. Background color is actually consistent and vibrant. Same thing on Baylor.

I know this is a long shot, but any chance you'd sell the Russell by itself? I'd be very interested.

I would prefer to sell as a complete set, but won't be broken hearted if the set needs to be sold individually. I will let you know if we go that way, Packs.

Default Jerry,

I just want to thank you. I have spent some crazy money in my lifetime (like the year I returned from Afghanistan!) I wish I had just half that money back!

The set you sent to me has to be one of the nicest collections I have ever owned. The condition on most of the cards is incredible and the autos even look better in person if that is possible. Thanks for the "provenance" letter. I am already charting my course and planning on how I am going to tackle the 37 that are not signed. The 2 Wilt's will be near impossible unless someone is sitting on those somewhere but I am so happy. Thank you very much sir,

Respectfully,

Mike Pap

Congrats on your pick up Mike!! It's an amazing set and worth every penny! Good luck in your pursuit of the cards you need. Your task seems herculean and would have been near impossible if not for the internet . Adam

There has to be numerous signed Wilt's out there. I thought he did many shows over the years.

Mike, I am absolutely thrilled that you are so happy and excited with the set! It makes my seller's remorse a lot easier to handle, but it was time to pass them on. Best of luck going forward to complete the signatures. Please keep us posted on the progress of your quest. It will continue to be a centerpiece of your collection.

Good luck in collecting.
Jerry
