Since we will finish our 1972 topps baseball set, we feel that the best choice is to do the 1951 topps baseball set, red and blue.
If you have any for sale, let me know or. We have basically none, so let's know what you have. As usual, no pin holes, no writing, no paper loss, no trimming and no rips. Soft corners and creasing is just fine. We are just doing a VG-Ex set. Thanks so much. |

Some collect the blue and red backs in singles and some in panels. I collected both in singles but there is a full red back set in panels in that pack. Blues are still tougher than Reds. Two player variations in the Reds. A lot of folks think of the 52 set as the first Topps set but there is a baseball subset of the 48 Magic Photos and 5 cool 51 sets that came packaged with gum or candy. And the 3 unissued 51 Current All Star cards of Stankey, Konstanty and Roberts are some of the most sought after of all post war cards.
Zach-- I was worried you were going Jolly on me |

Say Al - You say there is a full Redback set of panels in the cellopack? Looking at the scan, it appears that the card bottoms are separated - as if by some careless technique. Is that the case, and if so, how can they be called panels - they are not uncut at the sides are they?

They are not separated, there is a rubber band in there

I like the fact neither Red Backs or Blue Backs are that hard to pick up. I have often considered going after a complete set...but want to finish my 52's first. Z |
